8 cold therapy spaces, practitioners, and retreats in the network. Each is certified or emerging under one philosophical standard: you are an eternal being, not a problem to be solved.

Built according to Vastu principles. The name means live, seed, and immortality. Five elements, Ayurvedic meals, herbal steam, cold plunge, sound therapy, ceremony, 360-degree mountain views.

Twenty minutes south of Chiang Mai among the rice fields of Nam Phrae. Earthen domes built on sacred geometry, a herbal steam dome fed with fresh herbs from the garden, a wood-fired barrel sauna, saltwater pool, and ice baths. Part day sanctuary, part gathering place for breathwork, sound, and ceremony. The Cocoon is at 167 Moo 3, Nam Phrae, in Hang Dong. Its domes, round huts and open-air pavilions are built from clay, bamboo and stone, and the herbal steam room is shaped like a bell. Alongside it are a wood-fired dry sauna, ice baths and a saltwater pool, with food and drinks on site. It works as a walk-in day visit rather than a booked treatment, open from midday into the evening and later on Thursdays, so check current hours before going. It suits anyone who wants a long afternoon of heat and cold close to the city, and people who spend too long at a desk.

At the foot of Doi Luang in Chiang Dao, where earth, water, fire, and air are the treatment menu. Sauna, herbal steam, outdoor hot tub, ice bath, and cold plunge in a garden that opens onto the mountain. Overnight stays available. Sister sanctuary to The Cocoon. The Elements is at 321 Chiang Dao, in Chiang Dao District. It opens Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00 and needs no booking: guests walk in and bring only swimwear and slippers. Beyond the dry sauna, herbal steam room, wood-fired jacuzzi, saltwater pool and ice bath, there are indoor spaces to rest or work, and a cafe. Overnight guests sleep in bell tents, use the jacuzzi after sunset and spend the evening around the fire. It suits people who want a full day of heat and cold in the mountains, or a night away from the city.

A breathwork and meditation retreat center in the Sierra, home to the SoulFlow method. Inner healing pursued in common, because no one wakes up alone. Collective Awakening is the practice of founder Mahsa Ghafourian in Truckee, California. She offers meditation, breathwork, energy healing, Akashic record reading, integration support and spiritual coaching, and runs Grof Breathwork retreats. SoulFlow Breathwork is her method: deep, rapid breathing to reach an altered state, music that moves from intense to calm, hands-on bodywork only if the breather asks, then a sharing circle and drawing or journaling. Retreats add hiking, cold plunge swimming and kayaking. The breathing is built to bring up repressed memories and strong release, so it suits people ready for cathartic work. Private integration sessions support people processing psychedelic experiences and spiritual emergencies.

A retreat sanctuary in the Mendocino redwoods. Holotropic breathwork, somatic healing, and ecstatic dance held under trees that have kept time far longer than we have. Spirit Camp is a queer-owned retreat centre on 27 acres of coastal redwoods in Little River, 12 minutes from Mendocino town and three hours north of San Francisco. Co-founders Julian Cressman and Nathaniel Reagan run it. Most retreats are led by independent facilitators who rent the land and set their own programme. The calendar includes breathwork healer training, ecstatic dance, shadow work, fire ritual, cacao ceremony, kirtan, and women's and gay men's retreats. On site: seven cabins, seasonal bell tents, a Finnish sauna, a cold plunge and a redwood trail. The camp is substance-free: no alcohol, cannabis or recreational substances. It suits clear-headed group work, and not anyone planning to drink or use while there.

Inner awakening retreats led from the heart and the nervous system. The work is plain: meet what runs you, and remember what you are underneath it. Founder Aaron Parker describes himself as a qualified breathwork guide, coach and leader in meditation and nature therapy, with more than ten years in the work. He has shared breathwork and forest bathing on BBC's Robson Green's Weekend Escapes. Much of it happens outdoors: wild sauna sessions that pair wood fired heat with cold water and breath, nature retreats and therapy walks, and adventure days with paddleboarding, cliff jumping and cold water immersion. Yoga, breathwork and meditation classes run in the Conscious Hub Dome. There is also 1:1 coaching, training courses, and private and corporate bookings. It suits people who feel stuck or disconnected and are willing to get cold and wet to shift it.

Jason Ryer is the founder of Zen Strength, a breathwork, ice bath and nervous-system coaching practice in Chiang Mai, Thailand.[1] He has guided more than 2,000 people through breathwork and cold exposure, and has been working from Chiang Mai for more than five years.[1][2] He came to it from more than fifteen years in technology, including as a software engineer at IBM, followed by his own startup and consulting ventures.[1][3] That career ended in a health crisis: chest pains and a racing heart that doctors could not fully explain. Looking for answers, he went into fasting, nutrition and biohacking, and eventually trained with Wim Hof.[3][4] He is a certified Bulletproof and Human Potential Coach, trained through Dave Asprey's Bulletproof coaching programme, and his work pairs old breath and cold practices with the nervous-system science that explains them.[1][4] He coaches one to one, runs group ice bath and breathwork events, and teaches sleep masterclasses.[1]

Andi Faisal Tabusalla, known as Fai, is a Filipino movement coach and the Animal Flow regional leader for the Philippines.[1][2] He is also Managing Partner at Longevity Labs, a biohacking and contrast therapy club in Bonifacio Global City, Manila.[3] Animal Flow is ground-based, quadrupedal movement. Rope flow is a rhythmic swinging practice done with a heavy rope. He teaches the two together, training joint strength and mobility through pattern and rhythm.[1][2] In August 2024 Patina Maldives took him on as an expert in residence for a month, running Animal Flow and rope flow alongside mobility, strength and kettlebell work, running mechanics, functional breathing and guided cold immersion.[1][2] He also drums and performs as a DJ under the name FaiZy.[4]
