Retreat highlights
- A dopamine and digital detox for the whole stay: phones in the room safe, no screens, no alcohol, so all of your attention goes to each other
- A physical purification and detox alongside it, if you want one, set up with you on the call
- Eye gazing and heart connection every morning, the practices that let each of you feel seen, heard and understood
- Space for your bodies to decompress and breathwork the two of you do together, so both nervous systems settle at once
- Time apart every afternoon with your own facilitator, for your own work, so you come back to each other with more to give
- Your goals set with both of you on the first morning, and the depth of the stay set by the two of you
- Pampering: a couples massage on three nights and two on five, the pool, the gardens, and food somebody else cooked
- A closing evening on the last night, and a thirty-day plan with one call from your facilitator a month later
- A private room with its own bathroom and a balcony, all meals, both airport transfers
- Six couples at most, and the sessions together are yours alone
About this retreat
This is for couples in more than one place. Some of you are good together and want to go deeper, to unlock parts of your relationship you have not reached yet. Some of you are going through a hard stretch, or a life-changing one, and need time for your bodies to decompress and your nervous systems to settle before you can come together in a loving way again. Every one of you needs the same thing first: time and space to hold each other without distractions.
So for a few nights the phones go in the safe. You are in the hills above Hang Dong, in a place built for exactly this, with nothing to organise. Mornings you practise together: eye gazing, heart connection, breathing that brings both of you down at the same time. Afternoons you each have your own facilitator and your own time, then you come back to each other. The rest is a massage, the pool and the valley. If you want it, you can do a physical purification and detox alongside the dopamine detox.
On the first morning we sit with both of you and ask what you want from the stay. Some couples want rest and closeness. Some want to go deep. You choose the depth, and the week is set to match it.
This is a conscious investment in the person you have chosen to share your life with. Every place is offered after a call with both of you.
Together, apart, and together again
Each of you gets time with your own facilitator every afternoon. You work on your own things, and you come back to your partner with more to bring. Then the evening belongs to the two of you.
Together
Two hours with both facilitators. Eye gazing, heart connection and breathing together. Simple practices that work, and that you can keep using at home.
Apart
An hour each with your own facilitator, on whatever you brought for yourself. Your facilitator stays yours for the whole stay.
Together again
Dinner with the other couples, then the two of you, phones still away. The last evening is the closing, and what you are taking home.
Schedule
An ordinary day. The first morning is your goals for the stay and the last evening is the closing. On the three-night stay there is one full day like this; on the five-night stay there are three.
The shape is fixed. The timing moves with the group.

Questions people actually ask
Do we have to talk about our relationship in front of other couples?
No. The sessions together are the two of you and the facilitators. The group is for meals, the morning practice and the evenings.
What if one of us does not want to be there?
Say so on the call. It is normal for one of you to be keener. The call is where we check the week fits you both.
Is there any ceremony?
No. The closing evening is a conversation between the two of you.
How deep does it go?
As deep as the two of you want. We ask you both on the first morning and set the stay to match.
We are going through a hard time. Is this for us?
Yes. A lot of what this week does is give your bodies and nervous systems room to settle, so you can meet each other in a loving way again. Tell us where you are on the call and we will set the stay to match.
What is the physical detox?
An optional purification and detox that runs alongside the dopamine detox, for either or both of you. We talk it through on the call and set it up before you arrive.
Do we really have to give up our phones?
Yes, for the stay. They go in the room safe on arrival. Anyone who needs to reach you in an emergency can call the resort.
We have a baby. Can we bring them?
Not for this one. The sessions apart need both of you free.
Can we stay longer?
Yes. Ask on the call and we will arrange the extra nights with Insda.
What happens after?
A thirty-day plan written on the last day, one call with your facilitator a month later, and the Henosis community.
