As of September 2026, three spaces around Chiang Mai hold the Henosis mark. Insda Wellness Resort in Hang Dong offers guided rest practices, rooms and hosted retreats. Om Waters is a floating retreat centre on a lake in Si Lanna National Park that groups book for their own programmes. Suan Sati in Mae Wang runs yoga and meditation retreats and teacher trainings. Each was assessed by a human being.
How this list was made
Every space here holds the Henosis mark, awarded through a human assessment against the Henosis Standard. The list is alphabetical. No space paid to appear on it, and no placement is for sale. Updated September 2026.
Henosis is a global network of practitioners and spaces, each assessed by a human being against the Henosis Standard. The mark is earned, never bought.
The descriptions below are facts taken from each space's own website, linked in every entry. They are not assessment findings. For what the mark means, read what "certified by Henosis" means.
Insda Wellness Resort
Insda Wellness Resort sits in the green hills of Ban Pong, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai, and is managed by Chiang Mai Wellbeing Social Enterprise.
Its wellness programme centres on rest. A structured morning practice combines Surya Namaskar, pranayama and reflection, and Yoga Nidra is offered as guided deep rest. Group cacao ceremonies, sound sessions with bowls and handpan, and supported floating in the pool are also on the list, and Insda calls itself a non-clinical setting.
Rooms run from teak-furnished rooms with balconies to a three-bedroom Lanna house. On-site facilities include an activity hall, herbal steam rooms, a saltwater pool and a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Teachers and companies can host their own retreats with rooms and meals coordinated.
It suits people who want rest with some structure, and facilitators looking for a venue. Insda on Henosis.
Om Waters
Om Waters is a floating retreat centre on Mae Ngat Somboon Chon Lake, by Mae Ngat Dam, inside Si Lanna National Park. Its FAQ puts it about an hour's drive from Chiang Mai, then around 30 minutes by boat.
It is five floating houseboats joined by floating bridges, 100% solar-powered and off-grid. The 120 square metre yoga shala holds up to 22 people, and so does the accommodation. Three vegetarian and vegan meals a day are catered by Cat House Chiang Mai. The season runs from the beginning of November to the end of February.
Om Waters is mainly a venue. Groups bring their own yoga, meditation, dance, massage training and workshops. Individuals can join a scheduled training or book unbooked dates, released each August on Airbnb.
It suits retreat leaders with a group, and anyone happy with simple shared living on the water. Om Waters on Henosis.
Suan Sati
Suan Sati is a yoga and meditation retreat in Ban Kad, Mae Wang, in the countryside about 20 kilometres and 45 minutes from central Chiang Mai. Its founders, Will and Lisa, welcomed the first guests on New Year's Day 2017.
From October to February it runs six-day winter retreats with pickup from the Old City. Mornings are Hatha or Vinyasa, afternoons are slow flow, restorative or yin, and breath awareness is taught as meditation. Workshops cover alignment, philosophy, bodywork, pranayama, kirtan and dance, with opening and closing ceremonies and an optional evening activity. All meals are plant-based.
From May to September it opens as a guest house with stays of three nights or more, and it runs 200-hour yoga teacher trainings through the year.
It suits beginners and experienced practitioners who want community. Suan Sati on Henosis.
