Marleni is the founder of Pachamama Hampina Wasi, an Andean ceremonial centre near Lake Huaypo in Maras, Urubamba, in Peru's Sacred Valley, where she leads ceremony, initiation, sound healing and retreats.[1][3] She is also a clinical psychotherapist, qualified in 2012, who specialises in transgenerational and personal trauma.[2]
She calls herself "hija de la Pachamama", a daughter of Pachamama. She was born in Huancayo, Junín, with ancestors from Puno and the Pukina line, and grew up in a household where her parents spoke Quechua and Aymara.[2] Her knowledge of plants came from her mother.[2]
In 2005 she won permanent residency in the United States through the visa lottery and moved there to pursue a second master's degree, in international business.[2] The call to come home and build a healing centre came in 2016. She was guided to the land in 2017, and in March 2023 she returned to build it.[2][3]
The centre sits at Collana Alta, Chequerec, Cruz Pata, in Maras, Urubamba, near Lake Huaypo.[3] It was built from stones drawn from the Qhapaq Ñan, the Inca road network, after a full-moon ritual.[3] Before the build Marleni travelled to Qeros and Antipukara in Peru, and to Egypt and Argentina.[3]
The centre offers eight kinds of work: ancestral ceremony and ritual; "five bodies" healing, which addresses spirit, soul, energy, mind and heart; sacred plant medicine and spiritual guidance; cosmic and elemental connection; spiritual initiation; workshops and retreats; sound healing with ancestral instruments such as drums, flutes, gongs and rattles; and ceremonial guidance for cosmic and elemental alignment.[4]

Marleni's plant knowledge came from her mother, Yolanda, who died in 2020 and who kept that work private: "no quiero que la gente sepa que trabajo con plantas medicinales" (I don't want people knowing I work with medicinal plants).[2] Marleni has twin children, Maryoli and Clyde, born around 2012.[2]
During her years in the United States she was guided by "the energy of the eagle" alongside her own "energy of the condor".[2] The Andean prophecy of the eagle and the condor runs through the centre's own story.[3]
Sacred plant medicine, "medicina sagrada de plantas", is one strand of the centre's work, held "con profundo respeto y reverencia" (with deep respect and reverence), alongside ceremony, initiation and sound healing.[4]
Marleni leads Andean ceremony as the daughter of Quechua- and Aymara-speaking parents, and she is a clinical psychotherapist trained in transgenerational and personal trauma.[2][4]
