Carlos Daniel Balam
Cacao shaman, musician and temazcal leader from Mexico. Has worked alongside Wixárika Marakame shamans since he was young, and his family founded a foundation to protect and preserve Mayan lands and heritage. Performs as Cardan Balam Ancestral Music: live ceremony music built on pre-Hispanic instruments, prayer and electronic fusion. Came to the Philippines with Henosis in 2023 for the Hikuri ceremonies on Banahaw Mountain and the sacred cacao ceremony in Makati.
