Blandine Wegener (Maria Blandine Wegener) is a yoga and Tantra teacher, a practising psychologist and coach, and co-founder of Mahasiddha Yoga and its ashram, Amrita Integral Yoga Centre, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.[1][2] She has spent fifteen years on the yogic path, "dedicating every day of her life to teaching, personal growth and selfless service."[1]

With Uriel Yariv, her co-teacher and fellow co-founder, she wrote the school's four core programmes: the Tantra Immersion Course, the Emotional Healing Course, the Path to Purpose programme and the Lucid Dreaming Course.[1]

Blandine grew up in communist East Germany. She has spoken at length about that childhood, her way into yoga and her path in Tantra, and about intimacy, sexual continence for women and tantric lovemaking in long-term relationships.[2]

Path and the school

Blandine has been on the yogic path for fifteen years.[1] With Uriel Yariv she founded Mahasiddha Yoga and Amrita Integral Yoga Centre, "an Ashram resort in the lush country side of Thailand."[1]

She grew up in communist East Germany, and came from there into yoga, spirituality and Tantra.[2]

Humans in Love

On 13 November 2018 Blandine was the guest on episode 20 of Zachary Stockill's podcast Humans in Love, "Faith, Spirituality, and a Woman's Tantric Path." The episode covers the meaning of faith and mystery, her path to yoga and spirituality, growing up in East Germany, and how Tantra has shaped her relationships.[2]

She returned for a second part, "Intimacy, Presence, and Sexual Continence for Women," and for a later episode, "Tantric Lovemaking & Long-Term Relationships."[2]
