Chris Doria

Sound healer, frequency music producer and performance mentor, Melbourne

Chris Doria is a sound healer, frequency music producer and performance mentor in Melbourne, Australia.[1][2] He has spent more than twenty years working at the top level of elite sport, international music, live performance and private mentoring.[1]

He played basketball at state level and football semi-professionally before Collingwood Football Club recruited him, and he played VFL with them.[3] He toured and recorded as SOUNDCHECK, with releases on Sony Music, Revealed Recordings, Ultra Music and Cr2 Records, and sets at Stereosonic, Future Music Festival and Creamfields.[3][4] He now makes afro house tuned to 432 Hz as one half of Resonant Realms with Dan Byrne.[5]

In a sound session he plays frequency music he composed himself alongside instruments he has collected around the world.[3] Every track is tuned to a precise frequency,[1] and he writes those frequencies into the music to heal and to activate deep emotion. He does that work privately for industry leaders and in rooms of thousands of people.[3]

Sport

Chris played basketball at state level and football semi-professionally for years.[3] He was passed over in the AFL national draft twice, then Collingwood Football Club recruited him and he played VFL with them.[3]

SOUNDCHECK

Chris toured and recorded as SOUNDCHECK, a name that has been on the Australian club circuit for more than a decade.[3][4] His originals and remixes have been released by Sony Music, Revealed Recordings, Ultra Music and Cr2 Records, and supported by Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Timmy Trumpet.[3] SOUNDCHECK placed thirteenth in the inthemix DJ awards.[3]

He has played Stereosonic, Future Music Festival and Creamfields, supporting Calvin Harris, Tiësto and Deadmau5.[3] In 2021 he remixed Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" with Ryan Riback and Ed Colman.[4]

Resonant Realms

Chris is one half of Resonant Realms with Dan Byrne, a Melbourne duo making afro house tuned to 432 Hz.[5] They call it Electronic Medicine Music, and they hold ecstatic dance and sound journeys alongside the releases.[5]

Their singles come out through the Italian dance label Ego, "Saint Tropez (432 Hz)" among them in June 2025, and they run their own label, Resonant Realms Studio.[6][7]

Sound healing

Chris is a professional sound healer and a mental performance coach.[2] He composes the frequency music he plays in a session and layers it with instruments he has gathered from around the world.[3] Every track is tuned to a precise frequency,[1] and he writes those frequencies into the music to heal and to activate deep emotion.

He tailors a session to the room, and has held the work for industry leaders privately and for thousands of people at events.[3]

Frequency music

Chris publishes a library of more than 150 frequency tracks, made by hand and tuned to shift a listener's state through listening alone.[1] He wrote Frequency Shifting Prompt Codes: Volume I, a book of 88 codes.[1]

He runs The Weekly Reset, a live online session of sound, silence and spoken guidance.[1]

Mentoring

Chris mentors privately, one to one, on performing at a high level.[1] He also teaches a course on building a full-time career as a DJ, from beginner through to working professional.[1]
