Eleven days at an ocean-side retreat centre in Bali, four two-day courses from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, taught by Kevin B. Turner, its Director for Asia. The Way of the Shaman comes first: the drum, the trance it opens, basic divination and healing, and meeting your own spirit helpers. Then Shamanism & the Spirits of Nature, working with the spirits of plants, animals, land, water and sky. Then Advanced Shamanic Divination, the traditional methods: speaking with plant and animal spirits, quartz crystals, asking for revelation and getting it. Last, Shamanic Dreamwork, how shamanic cultures read the dreams you have already had. Take all four, or the last three if you have already done The Way of the Shaman with the Foundation. Staying at the resort is required, and paid to the resort.
Four two-day courses with a day between each, 21 June to 1 July. The day-by-day dates are not published yet. Until 15 November: US$275 a course, US$1,050 for all four, US$795 for the last three. From 16 November: US$295, US$1,130 and US$850.
