1Keep It Together

The book is a home management manual and is usually referred to by the acronym KIT.[1] It was reviewed in the Philippine Star's Mommy Talk column in January 2007 by Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, who had been given a copy by Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan.[1]

The review is the fullest published account of the contents and is worth reading as such. Beyond the planning chapters it describes detailed examples of what happens in a day, anecdotes on how the author manages her family life, and a chapter on sustaining and improving in which she tells readers they need to recharge physically and spiritually every day.[1] The reviewer's own summary of who wrote it is "a homeschooling mom to six children, a career woman, a dedicated wife, and faithful child of God".[1]

She has kept a blog under the same name since 2006, covering home management, the homeschooling years, her workshops and her volunteer work.[2] Her working email address is built from the book's acronym, which is a small thing but it dates the identity: she has been the Keep It Together person for twenty years.

2Homeschooling and CHAP

She is a founding member and past president of the Catholic Homeschool Association of the Philippines, a role her own blog describes as volunteer work.[2] She has homeschooled across the full range at once, with children who are university graduates, children in university and secondary school, and one child in special needs education.[2]

In September 2019 she and David, with their son Yuan, were one of three families programmed into the plenary of the Philippine Homeschool Convention, "No Place Like Home", held at the SMX Aura Convention Center in Taguig City.[3][4] The convention's own line-up places them alongside Dennis and Thammie Sy and Jay and May Palacpac, with the veteran homeschooler and author Marla Taviano among the named speakers.[3][4]
