Movement coach and Functional Patterns Human Biomechanics Specialist
Adam Klecheski is a movement coach certified by Functional Patterns, the biomechanics-based training system, as a Human Biomechanics Specialist Level 2. He completed the course in Las Vegas in August 2025, and the certification runs to August 2027.[1] It is an advanced tier, above the Human Foundations course that first qualifies a graduate to train others.[5]
He came to the work through his own body. Chronic pain in his lower back, shoulders, wrists and knee ended his basketball, and in 2018, in the Philippines, he set about rehabilitating himself.[2] That led him through yoga, Animal Flow, Ido Portal's movement practice and general mobility training to Functional Patterns in 2022.[2]
He coaches through BodyFlow, with private monthly coaching and single online sessions built around posture screening, video feedback and gait retraining.[2] He is also a trainer at Project Function's facility in Santa Monica, California.[4]
Adam was born in Poland and has lived in Russia, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the Philippines.[2] He grew up across Europe and Asia.[4]
Before coaching he built a career in sales and growth marketing, with roles in Manila, Amsterdam, Astana in Kazakhstan and Moscow, and studied at Growth Tribe Academy in Amsterdam in 2018.[3]
He grew up in sport: snowboarding, basketball, skateboarding, ice hockey, cycling, lacrosse, climbing, surfing and jiu jitsu.[2]
Then came chronic pain in his lower back, shoulders and wrists, and knee pain bad enough to stop him playing basketball and make stairs hard work. In 2018, living in the Philippines, he committed to rehabilitating his own movement.[2]
His rehabilitation moved through yoga, Animal Flow and the movement practice associated with Ido Portal, alongside general mobility training.[2] In 2022 he found Functional Patterns.[2]
The method resolved his own pain, and he now coaches others with it.[4]
Adam holds a current Human Biomechanics Specialist Level 2 certification from Functional Patterns, from a course held in Las Vegas from 26 to 29 August 2025 and valid through 29 August 2027.[1]
Functional Patterns' certification ladder starts with Human Foundations, the course that allows a graduate to begin training others. Human Biomechanics Specialist sits above it.[5]
Under the name BodyFlow he offers private coaching at $450 a month on a three-month minimum, with monthly sessions and weekly check-ins, and single online sessions at $150 by video call. Both are built around posture screening and video feedback.[2] New clients apply before they are taken on.[6]
